DREW BOON | SEMINARY FELLOW
Drew Boon spent most of his early life in Carroll County, GA, on a little hobby farm with his parents and three siblings, occupying his free time outside or rereading every book he could get his hands on.
After completing his BA in history, Drew began volunteering as a summer camp counselor at God’s Farm, a ministry that provides free programs for at-risk, underprivileged youth in the greater Atlanta area. Over the next ten years, while his role at camp gradually grew, he was mostly occupied with studying to be and working as an x-ray tech, until he joined God’s Farm full-time as Director of Operations. During his two years in that role, Drew took a class on Biblical Cultural Anthropology and discovered a new interest in the academic study of theology.
Drew currently lives in Ellijay where he has been employed the last several years turning an old farm into a retreat and wellness center, and he started studying for a Masters of Pastoral Ministry at Nashotah House Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2023.
