UPCOMING EVENTS
Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, with a beautiful, counter-cultural, and deeply moving service, in which we receive ashes on our foreheads, and pray an expanded confession and litany of penance.
Ladies Epiphany Tea
On Saturday, January 24th at 11am, the ladies are having an Epiphany-themed tea celebration at Rez.
To join in on the fun, please bring:
1) Either a brunch dish or a pastry to share
2) Three of your favorite gifts (that total under $10...examples include chapstick, a pen, etc) for a gift exchange
Altar Guild Training
The Altar Guild prepares everything associated with the Altar...the bread, the wine, the linens, etc. Serving on the Altar Guild is also a great way to better understand why we worship the way we do. Over the last few months our Altar Guild team has been dwindling, and we are greatly in need of volunteers!
Our Sacristan, Hannah Horning, is hosting an Altar Guild Training Day on
Saturday, January 24th from 9:30-11am.
Note: this is also a refresher course for existing Altar Guild members so that everyone is on the same page
Epiphany Potluck
Join us as we celebrate the Feast of Epiphany with a soup-themed potluck after church on January 11th.
Please bring a soup to share! (If you’re feeling extra generous, please bring either a side or a dessert as well.)
Lessons and Carols Service
Our Lessons and Carols service is a beloved annual candlelight service that retells the history of salvation—man’s creation, fall, and redemption through the incarnation of God’s Son—through a series of Scripture readings, each of which is paired with a Christmas carol.
We would love to see you there!
Christmas Eve at 5pm
Rez Christmas Party
‘Tis the season for holiday festivities to commence!
Mark your calendars for our annual Rez Christmas Party, on Saturday, December 13th at 5pm.
Bring a heavy appetizer to share, and if you’re interested in a fierce gingerbread house competition then bring your own supplies.
