JAMES MASTRIANNA | DEACON

Originally from Southern California, James relocated from Santa Cruz to Marietta, where he now lives happily with his wife, Casey, and their four lively, loving children. He brings extensive experience in both education and ministry, having served as a youth pastor and as an intern program director in the local church.

Over the years, James has faithfully taught, discipled, and cared for numerous families and students. His approach to ministry and education centers on heart-focused discipleship, cultivating virtue and godliness through instruction, discipline, and grace, particularly in challenging circumstances. He earned his B.A. in History from Penn State University and his M.A. in Theological Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary. A lifelong learner, James continues to study and reflect on history, theology, philosophy, and the life of the church, and when he’s not reading, he’s likely cheering on the Dodgers.
