Father Tyler and his wife, Jane, moved to Woodstock to serve at Rez in August of 2019. He first came as the Associate Rector, and has served as the Rector since December 2022.

Not being raised in a Christian home, Tyler came to saving faith in Jesus as a Senior in High School through the influence of a tennis instructor. Though from southern Illinois originally, Tyler came to Rez from Birmingham, Alabama, where he received a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School and served as a deacon at Christ the King Anglican Church. While in seminary, Tyler also served in addiction and homeless ministry as a chaplain at Brother Bryan Mission, where he developed his passions for leadership development and intentional community.

For fun, Tyler enjoys running, reading, and spending time with Jane, their daughter, Eden, and their dog, Tumnus.
