Deacon Sandi has faithfully served as a deacon at Resurrection for eleven years, as well as the Archdeacon of our diocese for over 4 years. 

Deacon Sandi will be retiring from serving publicly as a deacon on Sunday, September 13th. Our service Sept. 13th will be dedicated to celebrating Sandi's faithful service, and we are going to throw her a party following worship. For the party, we will enjoy many of Deacon Sandi's favorite things: pizza, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and peanut M&Ms. If you plan on attending, please bring a side to share!

Deacon Sandi is still going to belong as a vital part of our team. After September 13th, Sandi will still vest, process/recess, stand up front with the ministers, and attend staff meetings. Further, as a way of honoring Sandi's faithful service, we are going to honor her with the title “Deacon Emeritus.”
