About the Event

During the first half of the evening we will enjoy a gallery of fine art, as well as live music, poetry, and selected readings.

The second half of the evening will be led by musician Graham Jones.

This free, family-friendly event will leave you encouraged and edified as you experience the beauty of Christ through the arts.

About Graham Jones

Graham Jones is a Texan singer-songwriter who traces the story of the gospel with thoughtful lyrics and rich melodies. Inspired by six-string storytellers like Andrew Peterson, Jon Foreman, and John Mayer, his music is honest, joyful, and contagious with longing.

He's also a worship pastor, serving at his local church, The Fields in Arlington, TX. His passion for telling the story of Jesus in song stems from gathering every week to remember and rehearse the gospel with his church family.

Graham lives in Arlington with his wife Bethany, their son Luke, and their golden retriever Daisy. He loves movie scores, fantasy novels, games (video, board, and D&D), and most of all...chocolate chip cookies.

  • We will open the doors to the gallery at 6pm and you are welcome to walk around and enjoy the variety of paintings, drawings, woodworking, poetry, and embroidery displayed. The “live” portion of this event—music, poetry, story readings, etc.—will begin at 7pm.

  • Our live event will be wrapped up by 8:30pm, and you are welcome to browse back through the visual gallery on your way out.

  • No! This event is completely free, and the art being presented is designed for edification and not for sales purposes.

  • Yes! The arts night is family-friendly, and children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.

  • Most of our artists are members at Resurrection, but we also accept submissions from artists throughout the southeast.

  • The purpose of this arts night is to bridge the gap between artists and the Church, and to use the gifting of creators to inspire a sense of awe and wonder into our local community.
